A/M Pendant - The pendant is designed to integrate with modern residential and commercial systems utilizing low energy use, and efficient technology. The pednants were designed in CAD with molds made for slip-casting by Christina Zamora in her Bay Area studio. A selection of textured and hand applied glazes were developed by Christina for this project. An internal reflector is designed to redirect light back up through the handmade, lathed Himalayan salt diffuser emits a warm glow in dim environments such as over bar tops or restaurant environments. At the heart of the lamp is a dimmable constant current, low voltage LED spot with 95 CRI and full visible spectrum light. The Archaic Modern pendant debuted at Sight Unseen Offsite 2016 in NY amongst a limited group of up-and-coming designers from around the US and internationally.
